The Company Shop - What Is It and How Do I Join?

What is it? It's supermarket full of surplus stock. It could be end of line, close to the best before or use by date, underweight or have slightly different contents (I once got some Heinz Baked Beans for 60p a tine that might contain sausages due to a labelling error) or simply an over stocked item and the manufacturer needs the warehouse space! Who can join? Homemade Cauliflower Broccoli Cheese Recipe Quick and Easy

Portions: 1-2 Ingredients 1/2 a Cauliflower (or a mixture of Cauliflower and Broccoli or just Broccoli I guess)! 15g Butter 15g Plain Flour 150ml of Milk 115g of Cheddar Cheese Salt and Pepper Equipment Saucepan Bowl Spoon Oven Dish Instructions Cook the Cauliflower/Broccoli Drain and put to the side Melt the butter in a small Saucepan Stir in the Flour and keep stirring for about a minute Remove the saucepan from the heat Slowly stir in the milk and keep stirring as you do so Don't stop stirring! Put the saucepan back on the heat (and yes you guessed it) keep stirring it for about a minute to thicken it a bit The heat needs to be medium to high as we need it to start to boil (keep stirring by the way) When it does come to the boil, simmer for 1-2 minutes and keep on stirring. Add 3/4 of the Grated Cheese to the mixture and keep stirring it Once the cheese has melted in to the sauce (takes just a few moments) remove from the heat Add Salt and Pepper to taste Put the already...

Blue Light Card - What Is It and Who Can Get One?

What is it? It's a discount card where you can get discount off of anything from a Laptop to Car Insurance and pretty much everything inbetween! Some companies offer a discount in their stores, some online and some offer it in both - if you get a BLC then always ask when at the till as the worst thing they can do is say no they don't accept it, but if they do then you'll get some money off. I have personally used it to get money off of restaurant bills and more recently, a large genuine discount off of my prescription glasses! Even some fast food restaurants offer a discount on production of it, some require you to order through a specific app or website link (KFC and McDonalds have offered discounts before but you had to order through the app). At the moment I even get a (tiny) Blue Light Card discount at ASDA but you have to have the ASDA Rewards App and add it to the app and then you get extra cash back on your reward card.
