The Company Shop - What Is It and How Do I Join?

What is it? It's supermarket full of surplus stock. It could be end of line, close to the best before or use by date, underweight or have slightly different contents (I once got some Heinz Baked Beans for 60p a tine that might contain sausages due to a labelling error) or simply an over stocked item and the manufacturer needs the warehouse space! Who can join? Blue Light Card - What Is It and Who Can Get One?

What is it? It's a discount card where you can get discount off of anything from a Laptop to Car Insurance and pretty much everything inbetween! Some companies offer a discount in their stores, some online and some offer it in both - if you get a BLC then always ask when at the till as the worst thing they can do is say no they don't accept it, but if they do then you'll get some money off. I have personally used it to get money off of restaurant bills and more recently, a large genuine discount off of my prescription glasses! Even some fast food restaurants offer a discount on production of it, some require you to order through a specific app or website link (KFC and McDonalds have offered discounts before but you had to order through the app). What Is It? I've just seen this item on Amazon for an amazing price - what a bargain, or is it?! A former work colleague of mine introduced me to the Camel Camel Camel website that is specifically for searching the history of Amazon prices so you can instantly see if something you have your eye on really is at a genuinely low price or not. CamelCamelCamel periodically checks Amazons website and records the price of each items it sells, thus creating a price history. You can even set up alerts where you can get the website to email you when an item you are interested in goes below a certain price. How Does It Work? Simply search Amazon for an item you're interested in, copy and paste the website link/address/URL in to the CamelCamelCamel website and take a look at the results.
