Council House/Estate Tea - Turkey Burger and Chips

A Council House/Estate Tea is a cheap and cheerful meal that a lot of us had as kids back in the 1980s and in to the 1990s - normally consisting of chips cooked in a chip pan full of lard.  I'm afraid to say the chips in this photo are not authentic as they are oven chips.

It goes without saying (but I'll say anyway) the purpose of the bread is for half of it to be used to create a Chip Butty and the other half for dipping in the runny eggs.

The only thing missing is some spaghetti hoops or baked beans but I didn't have any in the cupboard so I had to go without!
