Flash Spray Wipe Done (Kitchen) Review - SuperSavvyMe

I normally just use a sponge with some washing up liquid and water on it for cleaning my kitchen work top and electric hob but I have been sent some free Flash Spray Wipe Done Kitchen from SuperSavvyMe so time to give it a go!

I have purposely not cleaned my hob for a few days:

It would be unfair to test it whilst the hob is in this state so before I sprayed it all the hob and surrounding work surface I removed all the loose bits...

Step 1: Spray!

Step 2: Wipe!

Step 3: Done!

When I use the Bathroom version of Flash Spray Wipe Done, in my experience it gets rid of all the grime and leaves it sparkly clean, whereas (for me) although it has left my work surface sparkly clean, there are still some marks (that don't get removed with my old method either) so that's why I've not given it the full 5 stars - if it got rid of the marks/stains on my hob then that would be amazing and it would have had 5 and not the 4.5 I have given it.

Fairy Platinum Plus All-in-One Dishwasher Capsules Review

Cost at time of review: ZERO        Purchased From: SUPERSAVVYME

First things first, I did not pay for these Fairy Platinum Plus All-In-One Dishwasher Capsules, they were sent to me free of charge via SuperSavvyMe.

However, I did pay for these ones:

And I also paid for these 2 different Aldi ones as well...

So why do I have 3 different dishwasher tablets I here you ask?!  Well, for lightly soiled dishes that I've used/dirtied that day I use the (ALDI) Magnum Classic tablets, for heavily soiled dishes I've used/dirtied that day I use the (ALDI) Magnum all-in-1 tablets and for heavily soiled dishes that have been in my dishwasher for longer than a day or two, I use the Fairy Platinum Plus ones.

I normally only have two different types of dishwasher tablets but the cheaper (ALDI) Magnum Classic ones had 50% one time I visited due to the box they came in being damaged so it was a bargain!

Living on my own I don't use my dishwasher every day (like a regular family potentially would) as if I was to do so it would be a waste of time (and money) as all I'd be washing up would be one knife, one fork, one plate and a mug or glass!

I have a set of 6 dinner plates etc. and the same amount of relavent cutlery so I only tend to put my dishwasher on once I've run out of plates as then is when my dishwasher is full.

Therefore, some of the items in my dishwasher could be up to 6 days old and that's when you need a really good dishwasher table and that's where the Fairy Platinum Plus dishwasher tablets come in to play!

If I have my two Goddaughters (and their parents) round for a meal then there would be enough to fill my dishwasher up that very day and that's where the Aldi dishwasher tablets come in to play, recommended by Which they are amazing (in my experiencing) in cleaning the dishes, most of the time.  There has been the odd occasion they have let me down on one or two items, but having said that I always run my dishwasher on the Eco setting rather than the normal setting so that's more likely the cause than the tablets.

If you want the best results all of the time (regardless of cost) then Fairy Platinum Plus All-In-One Dishwasher Capsules are the ones for you!  But the Aldi ones come a very close second and at nearly half the price they are amazing value.

For me, I will always buy both the ALDI own brand and Fairy Platinum Plus tablets and always use the Fairy ones when I've had a roast dinner as they are fantastic at cleaning my roasting tins!

So lets put the Fairy Platinum Plus tablets to the test...

I always use the ECO setting, it takes a lot longer (at least 3 hours) to clean the dishes but somehow uses less water and less electricity despite the long time it's in operation!

AFTER:

Lets taker a close look at the glassware:

Shiny, sparkly and streak free - what more could you ask for?!

Overall I am very pleased with the Fairy Platinum Plus tablets and the only reason I have not given it the maximum of 5 stars is on the very, very rare occasion when using them I've had to put things back in to the dishwasher to was again as bits of food were missed.

Snack Time! - First Time Trying ALDI Brooklea Split Pots Yogurt

Cost at time of review: £1.95        Purchased From: ALDI

At up to half the price of the big brand (that we all know) these had to be worth a try and worth a try they were!

The yogurt itself seemed a but thicker than the big well known brand and the cherry compote is very nice.

Overall I really enjoyed this yogurt and give it a well deserved 4.5 stars out of 5.
