Poached Egg on Sourdough Bread with Lightly Smoked American Style Bacon

Now that autumn is well and truly upon us it's time for a warm treat for breakfast!


Believe it or not up until yesterday, I've never tried sourdough bread before.  To be honest the word 'sour' put me off from trying it, but now I've tried it, I see I was wrong and I cannot taste any sourness to it whatsoever.


I picked up this American Style Bacon back in September from Aldi and it's been keeping safe in my freezer ever since just waiting to be eaten.



Warm, tasty and filling - a fantastic Autumnal breakfast if ever I saw one.
