Portions: 2-4
Ingredients
- 1tbsp Olive Oil
- 1/2 Red Onion (Finely Chopped)
- 1/2 tsp Cumin
- 1/2 tsp Sea Salt
- 1.5 Jalapeno Peppers (or equivalent from a jar)
- 1 400g tin of chopped tomatoes
Equipment
- Frying Pan
- Wooden Spoon
- Chopping Board
- Knife
Instructions
- Add the Olive Oil and the chopped red onion to the frying pan and cook on a moderate heat until the onion is nice and soft

- Stir in the garlic

- Add the Cumin, Salt and Jalapenos and give it a quick stir

- Pour in the tinned chopped tomatoes

- Stir well and simmer for 10-15 minutes

- When it has reached the required thickness, pour in to a bowl and allow to cool

Serving Suggestion(s)
Serve with Tortilla Chips/Crisps of course!
Oh, and if you are anything like me and added too many jalapenos, also serve with a glass of cold milk!!
