You're off your trolley if you don't use this website to potentially save money on your supermarket shop!
Seriously though, give it a try - it lists products from all the major supermarkets; Aldi, Tesco, Asda, Sainsbury, Iceland, Waitrose and even Amazon!
If you've seen some of the meal ideas on this website, you wont be surprised to learn that I love Pepsi Max so when I'm getting close to running out all I do is perform a quick search on www.trolley.co.uk
It then shows you how cheap it has been (along with what it's peak price has been) and which supermarkets are selling it. The only negative thing, is it doesn't show offers such as Iceland do a lot of 4 for £34 (which works out at £8.50 each) but it would still show the full price of £11.25 so you still need to do a little bit of shopping around.
Having said that, most items don't tend to have such offers so in my next example we'll look at Clover Light:
At the moment ASDA is the cheapest so I know where I'll be going when I've finished writing this blog entry!
You can even set up alerts for price changes - Walkers box of 20 crisps can go down as low as £3.85 but normally sell at around £4.85 so you can set an email alert up so that you get a notification when the price goes down.
I use my mobile phone to browse to the trolley.co.uk website whilst in a supermarket to check the price of something to see if it's a good price or not.
