Experimenting Cooking Pork Scratchings In My Ninja Foodi Air Fryer

You're on your way to making some amazing homemade pork crackling from Morrisons' pork rinds! To get that perfect puff and crisp, how you slice the rind is key - but what exactly is the optimum size pieces?!

First things first, soften the rind. Raw pork rind can be incredibly tough to cut, so I used the Pressure Cooker setting on my Ninja Foodi Air Fryer to pressure cook the pork rinds for 5 minutes...

Once it's softer, you'll want to cut it into pieces.  In this experiment I cut it in to various different sizes to see what comes out the best...

As you can see, I have got 4 different sized pieces of softened pork rinds so all I need now is a dash of oil and sprinkling of salt before cooking them in the Ninja Foodi...

On first look, they all came out crunchy but the taste test proved otherwise... the best (crunchiest with no chewy bits) were (no surprise) the smaller pieces:

Needless to say, this will be the size I will be cutting the rind to when I next make homemade Pork Scratchings.
