Homemade Tartare Sauce Recipe


Portions: 4-6


Ingredients

  • 6 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 finely chopped gherkin
  • 1 finely chopped shallot (about half the amount of gherkins is best)
  • 1 tbsp rinsed and chopped capers
  • 2 tsp chopped tarragon
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley

Equipment

  • Chopping Board
  • Knife
  • Bowl

Instructions

  1. Put all of the ingredients together in a bowl and stir!



Although you can enjoy this sauce straight away it tastes even better if you let all the ingredients marinade together for at least 30 minutes or if you have time to make it in advance, overnight in the fridge.


Serving Suggestion(s)

Best served with fish of course!


Keep in the fridge for around 3-5 days.
