I've Had A Reply From Mr Freeze

Earlier this morning a reply from Mr Freeze (pops) pinged in my inbox!  They appologised for my experience and asked if I had any photographs showing the issue in hand - fortunately I did take a few of both the boxes and a leaky ice pole so I promptly replied and sent them off as attachments.

Not long later they replied thanking me for the photos and asked for my postal address so they can send me something as a gesture of goodwill - I just hope they don't send me any of their products in the post as they're bound to leak in transit!!

A Freeze Pop is for life, not just the Summer...

I enjoy eating (is that the word for was is basically frozen flavoured water) both during the warm/hot summer months as well as during the freezing cold winter as they're quite refreshing and the Sour ones (in particular the Sour Cherry ones) are delicious!

There's just one problem though...

They leak!  I noticed a few weeks ago that the plastic seems a lot thicker than it used to be so therefore it's quite brittle compared to what it used to be.

On no less than two occasions at two different Supermarkets (Morrisons and ASDA) I have had to get assistance at the checkout as I spotted a leak coming from a sealed box.

I've even had to empty half my freezer due to leakage from a couple of them that I had put in and one even started to drip on my shorts as I was eating it and it was starting to melt and the one shown in the photo above started to happen at my desk at work!

I've just sent an email to Mr Freeze so we'll see what they have to say...
