The best ever onion rings I have ever had were from the Werringtons Chip Shop in Kettering. To make them all they did was thickly chop up an onion, pop out the rings, dip them in their batter mix and deep fry until golden brown!
Crispy, sweet and delicious!

Ingredients
- Batter Mix - Click/Tap here for my Batter Mix
- Onion(s)
Equipment
- Chopping Board
- Knife
- Deep Fat Fryer
Instructions
- Turn on the Fryer and heat to 180°C
- Thickly chop up your onion
- Pop out the Rings
- Pat dry (or put in the fridge for 30 minutes)
- Dip in the Batter Mix (shake off any excess)
- Place in the fryer for 2-4 minutes until they are golden brown
- Place on kitchen roll to drain
Serving Suggestion(s)
Serve with a dip of your choice and/or with a succulent steak!
